Princess Knight<\/em><\/a>\u00a0is one of the foundation works of\u00a0sh\u014djo<\/em>\u00a0or “girls’ comics”, depicting the fairy-tale adventures of\u00a0Sapphire<\/a>, a princess born with both a male and female soul.<\/p>\n

Based on the ‘Nakayoshi’ version<\/a>, a\u00a0remake of the original\u00a0Princess Knight<\/em><\/a>, this edition was put out in 2001 by Kodansha, in an excellent bilingual Japanese\/English format. \u00a0 Only available in Japan, this edition was designed primarily to be used as a study tool. \u00a0However, given that it was an English-language release of Princess Knight<\/em><\/a>\u00a0that predates the Vertical Inc. edition<\/a> by a decade, it was once extremely sought-after by Tezuka fans.<\/p>\n
